Clinical Teacher
Susie G uses Pilates and biomechanical principles to rewire bad movement patterns in patients recovering from traumatic injury,
and may have neglected physical therapy. She teaches proper neural patterning to retrain the body to move more
efficiently and fluidly. The focus is proper body alignment and muscle engagement to move pain and injury free.
Susie G addresses injuries or ailments that are common with clients. Once these issues and their causes are recognized,
focus on recovery and what to avoid assist in a quicker recover. All work is within the National Pilates Certificastion Program scope of practice

Personal Trainer
Susie G has been working with private clients and small groups since the boom of Personal Training in the early 90s. As a life-long student of physical fitness, many fads have come and gone, but Susie has filled a tool box of techniques that are most effective when working with her students. She incorporates different modalities of functional and strength training, flexibility and cardiovascular training methods to meet the needs of each client. Subtly, the Pilates inspired core model is used to fine tune entire body programming.

Group Exercise Teacher
Susie G began her career as an aerobics instructor at Bally Total Fitness, back when the choice was simply high-impact or low-impact classes. Over the years, she has taught nearly every format of fitness and today continues to lead Pilates, Kettlebell, and Bootcamp-style classes.
She currently teaches at The Pilates Room in Hermosa Beach and offers private group sessions by appointment in home rentals and resort hotels throughout the Coachella Valley.
